Why Is Sony NEX-C3 Good Digital Camera

Arrival of Sony NEX-C3 was not some spectacular shock in the world of photography. It was expected, mostly due to information with detailed technical data for months before the announcement. It was talked about new NEX on photography forums, and all have been waiting for finally came in April.
April came and we haven't gotten any new information. The unofficial but probably good explanation: companies like Sony have a huge problem with the production because of earthquake. Production of sensors requires constant stable supply of electricity, which Japan didn't have after the earthquake. Sony produces the sensors that they sell to other companies, new product announcements have been postponed until the situation stabilizes.

Sony NEX-C3 comes in July with a small delay, but just in time for tourists who are seeking for a new camera before the holiday in far countries. The most important, it brings Sony's 16.2-megapixel APS-C sensor. This same sensor is located in the Sony SLT-A55 and the DSLR-A580 and SLT-A35, which was introduced parallel with the new NEX (but also expensive models from other manufacturers such as Pentax K-5 or Nikon D7000 have it). As we saw in Nikon D7000 review that is the best sensor on the market.

LCD Display, Memory and Battery

Sony NEX-C3 continued trend of excellent LCD screen with 921k pixels and three-inch screen is at the top of the new Sony NEX-C3. NEX-C3 uses SD cards which are easily winning the market for professional photographers who use CF cards that are better then the NEX-C3's ones. New NEX supports the latest SDHC and SDXC formats, while you can still use the Sony MS Pro Duo card. The battery is not changed compared to previous NEX (lithium-ion NP-FW50), which is good considering to reduction of body size. According to CIPA standard C3 can make up to 400 pictures with one filling, which was confirmed in our test.

Conclusion

Sony NEX-C3 is a very good digital camera, that is more better then older NEX cameras. Although it has few bad sides, Sony NEX-C3 is good because of its battery, picture and video quality.
