The major failure of AC adapter is the poor quality in some components, such as PCB layout, laptop power cord and so on. To avoid it, some details should be paid attention to in the process of maintenance.
If the charger cannot be repaired on time, a compatible one can be used to replace it as long as the output voltage and current is similar. As there's a voltage stabilizing circuit in it, it is no use to worry out overvoltage or ultraviolet.
Try to prevent the internal cable from disconnection when winding the laptop power cord. Replace the air filter that keeps dust out of the air conditioner's duct system. Dirty filters block airflow, allowing air to bypass the filter and carry dust and dirt directly into the evaporator coil. Keep the air filter clean to lower your energy consumption by 5 to 15 percent.
Brush clear dust from the soil fins. Take the fin comb or straightening tool and arrange one of several small teeth among the undamaged fins above the bent area. Pull the tool downward, separating the compressed fins. These delicate metal fins transfer temperature efficiently when separated.
