Four Companies together unveil Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative

Panasonic, Samsung, Sony and X6D Limited (XPAND 3D) have announced their intent to collaborate on the development of a new technology standard for consumer 3D active glasses, under the name, "Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative".

With this new agreement, the companies intend to work together on the development and licensing of radio frequency (RF) system 3D active glasses technology, including RF system protocols between consumer 3D active glasses and 3D displays such as televisions, personal computers, projectors and 3D theatres with XPAND active shutter glasses.

The standardization will also include multiple types of infrared (IR) system protocols between 3D active glasses and 3D displays, ranging from the protocols jointly developed by Panasonic and XPAND 3D  to the proprietary protocols of Samsung and Sony, respectively.

The licence of newly announced Full HD 3D Glasses Initiative is targeted to be released in September 2011, during which time the development of new standardization applied active 3D glasses will begin. Universal glasses with the new IR/RF protocols will be made available in 2012, and are targeted to be backward compatible with 2011 3D active TVs.  Universal glasses with the new IR/RF protocols will be made available in 2012, and are targeted to be backward compatible with 2011 3D active TVs.

The Age Of 3D Flatscreen TV's Has Arrived

The Panasonic Viera 3D High Definition television (HDTV) is a work of technological artistry. The contrast in brightly lit locations is remarkable for this particular television. The enhancements allow the flat panel television to produce images that are smooth, natural, and rich with color. True deep blacks are viewable in bright surroundings and convey the most convincing, realistic pictures during movies.

The 24p technology increases the frames to provide smoother and more natural looking images. This feature is available in the VT, GT, and ST series. The image of the Viera 3D HDTV can be calibrated and customized to the specific viewing conditions in the home. The contrast, sharpness, tint, and color may also be optimized to complement the light conditions. A setting for day and night time is available, too.

Sizes Available

The Panasonic Viera television is available in over seven different sizes ranging from 32 inches to 65 inches. Viewers may enjoy the full high definition 3D in one of the sharpest large flat panel televisions available. The sizes will accommodate capacious living spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, and corporate offices. Panasonic's vast selection is designed to accommodate the needs of the average consumer.

Weight

The Panasonic Viera 3D HDTV is very lightweight. With the stand, the 65 inch Panasonic Viera 3D HDTV weighs a mere 138.9 pounds. The weight without the stand is 123.5 pounds. The weight varies based upon the screen size of the television. Clients find this weight to be maneuverable during installation and placement in the room. Moving is also easier with a lightweight television.

Special Features

This television features fast switching phosphors to reduce the duration of the afterglow effect. This helps to render clear 3D and 2D images. This technology is used in all full HD models. By minimizing pre-discharge, the manufacturers have managed to produce crisp blacks with minimal graying. Glare and internal reflections are reduced with the improved filter shape, and ambient lighting creates contrast for richer blacks.

The unique technology is capable of converting 2D images to 3D images in real-time. This is enabled by the Super Resolution functionality. This helps to eliminate double images. The 3D effect is natural and realistic. Blu-ray movies, DVD movies, and television sitcoms may be viewed in 3D. To view 3D photos or movies, insert the SD card into the slot on the Panasonic Viera HDTV. Memories will be forever preserved in 3D.

The new phosphor process and new panel technology enables the plasma panels to last up to 100,000 hours. After this point, the brightness may decrease by half. This feature provides 30 years of viewing at 8 hours per day. This is a remarkable improvement.

The maximum moving picture speed that can be enjoyed with full HD resolution is supported by this television. The Panasonic Viera 3D HDTV is capable of achieving 1,200 pixels per second under this new standard. Images that scroll to the right and left will be displayed in the correct format of 1080 lines.

Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) is cloud based Internet service that allows clients to expand the programming they want to watch. Through the remote control, a variety of Internet content will be instantly available.

Are Glasses Required?

Each Panasonic Viera 3D HDTV comes equipped with one pair of active shutter 3D glasses. Additional glasses may be purchased for viewing pleasure. Through the glasses, there will be full 3D HD pictures with incredible power and realism. The images will flash on the screen at 120 frames per second if recorded in 1920 x 1080 pixels for both the right and left eyes. Some HDTVs do not require glasses, but the picture on the Panasonic Viera JD is so phenomenal that you will hardly mind wearing them. For more information regarding 3D flat screen television, visit MyReviewsNow.net Shop From Home.
