Tips for when you don't want to work

We all have times when we're just not in the mood to get on with work. Perhaps we're feeling tired or apathetic, or weeks of stress have finally caught up with us. Or maybe we're having a hard time staying on task. So how can you get down to your business again?

Give yourself a break

If you're trying to force yourself to work on your small biz at the weekend and you're feeling fed up, then perhaps the best solution will be to simply take a break. You can end up wasting a lot of energy by pushing yourself on by sheer willpower… when, in fact it may be the case that your brain and body really need a break.

Relaxing outdoors on a sunny day

As you relax sprawled out in a lawn chair, the sun warms your skin and a light breeze keeps the temperature comfortable. Birds are chirping merrily in the trees behind you. You are at complete peace with the environment.

Having a good laugh

Laughter is the greatest cure of all. Life is extraordinary in the moments when you are laughing so hard you can barely breathe. These moments of deep laughter are divine in the sense that they cleanse your mood and set your mind on a positive track.

Read a good inspirational book

Reading brings us everything. Choosing a nice book is like talking with the nice people. Sometimes reading will give us great encouragement and urge us to go forward.

Sleeping in on a rainy day

As the rain beats lightly against the window, you nestle your head deeper into your pillow. The sound is soothing and your bed feels like a sanctuary. There is no place you would rather be.

Promise yourself a reward

Finally, if all of these can't motivate you, then try a bribe! Promise yourself a treat if you get through three tasks on your list, or if you finish the last one piece of work which has been hanging over you.

You might decide to take the rest of the day off (which encourages you to work faster rather than procrastinate). You might go to your favorite restaurant for lunch. You could treat yourself to a new book or 7 inch double din car DVD player which you've been meaning to buy. Rewards can be hugely motivating – give it a go.

7 inch double din car DVD player offers music you love

Music helps me when I'm depressed. It also helps me forget and it cheers me up. There are some songs with funny stupid lyrics that could make us laugh. It's also weird when you get the feeling that you want to cry and just can't, music does help you cry. Especially when you feel it in your heart and remember those sad moments you had. In a word, I love music very much though there is some kind of music I really don't like.

And I have a car which is the ugliest one you will ever see. It needed some paint job so bad and the foam on its back seat is exposed but it's still running fast, by far there is no problem with its engine. The happiest thing is that its 7 inch double din car DVD player offers me music I like and works very well. It's enough for me to own it.

Now I also remember the time when I still rode the bus. The driver is playing songs that I don't like from artists that I don't like but I can't go to another bus because I will be late. I remember enduring songs from Boybands and other bubble gum pop artists I can't stand. I also don't need to deal with the situation when those nasty people who smoke cigarettes on the buses anymore. I'm sure many people experience being inside a bus that plays awful music.

However, my life have changed since I had my ugly car and owed my favorite 7 inch double din car DVD player. I feel so good now because I can play and enjoy music that I like while I driving. I can sing out loud while driving and enjoy all my road trips. And I won't worry about what the car looks like. With my 7 inch double din DVD player, it not only gets me from A to B but also plays great music for me. Sometimes, I will even imagine that if there wasn't any music in my car, how would my driving experience be? I think that's must be boring and without interest.

Music for me is everything. Music can open my heart when I am sad and make me happy. I can see different colors in my head when I listen to different kinds of music and songs. Without it, our world will be really dark and grim.
